Where does the name Raceway Storage come from?
Before the first self storage site was in Hughesville, there was a go-cart track here. The owners felt it was only right to keep the name “Raceway” in memory of a loved attraction in Hughesville, PA. In the office window, we still have a sign from the pit and paddock area.
The race track sat vacant and ran down for many years and sadly became some what of an eye sore in the community until it was purchased and renovated many years later. In its place, state-of-the-art buildings were set surrounded with a fence, 24 hour surveillance cameras, and private entry with a key-padded gate.
Self Storage
Hughesville Raceway Self Storage was established in 2002, with the first location being at 92 Green Valley Rd. Hughesville.
A few years later, Milton Raceway Self Storage was established at 140 Clemens Rd. Watsontown, giving us two convenient locations.
The most recent location established was Hughesville Raceway Self Storage II, located at 2321 State Route 405, Muncy.
Raceway Self Storage will continue to grow and add new buildings, and we’re excited to see where we’ll end up next!
Mobile Storage
Then, in 2012, Hughesville Raceway Mobile Storage was created, giving our customers a different option for storage.
With over 100 units and multiple trucks, we are now able to be the convenience our customers need to move or renovate!
